Dollar Store Pumpkin-Doily Banner

Welcome to the easiest cheapest decoration ever! The Dollar Store had these cute pumpkin doilies (a 36-pack!) beckoning to me, and really, who was I to resist? The second I saw them I knew they would make their home as a banner on my fireplace.

They were delicate, so though I could have attached them to a ribbon, I didn't want them to be hanging from anything that would take away from them. Instead, I attached about a dozen of them together with jump-rings,

and strung them right up!

(Kindly refrain from judgement on my unfinished and daily-changing mantle. Someday soon I will like what I put up there. I'm sure of it.)

What's perfect is the banner can stay through Thanksgiving!

  6. I love this. Was it difficult to do the jump rings? I am afraid I would tear the doilies. Any tips?

  9. Aren't these adorable?!? We're going to use the pumpkins and leaves with some ribbon to make ours. Ribbon, as a can thread it and make her very own craft!

  13. These doilies are from the Dollar Tree and it was not difficult at all to do the jump rings! I had zero tears or fuss! If you're worried though, instead of peeling them all apart to get individual doilies, you could leave them stuck together (how they come) in clumps of two or more to make the banner sturdier. :)
